“Ich weiß was, was du nicht weißt! – Critics!?!

Lea has drop some good words over at abgeschirmt. Unfortunately for all the none German speaker you have to use one of the multiple translation services to read it.

Just a quote from her, that sums up how I feel sometimes:

“Ich schreib hier von der typisch deutschen Kritikkultur, die mir schon seit längerem gehörig auf den Sack geht. Kritik ist super! Kritik kann helfen, man lernt dadurch, ganz klar. Alle müssen Kritik toll finden! Aber in Deutschland wird Kritik so oft missbraucht als einfache subtile Form der Angeberei. Man kritisiert nicht, um mit seiner Kritik zu helfen, nein, man schreibt einfach nur absoluten Bullshit, um zu zeigen, dass man selbst nämlich „meinen Cocktail“ geschrieben hätte und ja super geil toll rechtschreiben kann. Die war bestimmt früher Stempelsammlerin in der Grundschule. Oder eines von diesen nervigen Kindern, die bei Referaten die „ähms“ mitgezählt haben, um das Ergebnis später stolz zu präsentieren. „Also, den Inhalt fand ich voll gut, aber leider hat der Fritz 34-mal Füllwörter benutzt.“ Die Leute wollte man früher schon schlagen!”
