Arcade Fire’s new music video for “We Used To Wait”. Music-video?!

Today my good friend Ben K. send me the link http://www.thewildernessdowntown.com/ and told me to check it out. He said it’s pretty amazing.

I didn’t know what to expect but normally it’s always some good stuff Ben passes on and what I discovered was no disappointment!

Great interactive website / music video for Arcade Fire‘s song We Used to Wait by Chris Milk. It makes use of HTML 5 and Google Street View Content to create a trully unique video experience.

Enjoy…

2010 SKATE & CREATE

skatecreate logo 2010 SKATE & CREATE

Skate and Create is a video and photo challenge by transworld skateboarding.

Participants this year are the brands Adidas, Fallen, Etnies and Lakai.

The rules are simple:

- 1 warehouse

- 1 art director

- 1 TWS photographer

- 1 Film crew

- 6 skater (4 pros &  2 ams) from each participating company

- 9 days in the warehouse

- judged by TWS edit staff

I personally enjoy the Lakai video called “Lakairomania” directed by Ty Evans the most.

I love the idea of having a “burning set” and the music by Ima Robot.

Check out more background infos and all the videos over at TWS Skate & Create.

For your listening pleasure: “Humdrum Town” Theophilus London

I discovered this song through a shortfilm called 1Love Brooklyn.

“As part of the lead up to the World Basketball Festival, Nike Sportswear is connecting the Five Boroughs of New York City in a celebration of hoops, culture, and its iconic Air Force 1 sneaker. Nike Sportswear has chosen five ambassadors from each of the five boroughs to participate in 1LOVE, a program that includes a online documentary series, a basketball tournament, and a Manhattan block party takeover.

Brooklyn-raised rapper, songwriter and producer Theophilus London kicks it off, as the focus of the first 1LOVE episode, in which he gives a tour of the Brooklyn neighborhood he grew up in and uncovers what makes his borough unique.”

Enjoy the shortfilm:

And enjoy the music video (already a classic I’d say):
